Hi guys thinking of getting this bowling machine as its a lot cheaper than a bola at only £350! Would like to know if anyone has tried it out before buying one myself (see video link below)

60 mph may seem a little slow but according to the video speeds can be increased by bring the machine closer. Also the machine uses lighter balls than normal bowling machine balls but apparently feel good off the bat.
Thanks :D

Use the search function on here. There's at least 1 thread around with details

It can be okay for juniors or lower standard players, however if you are a high standard player I feel that you will not gain a lot from this machine.

Thanks for the response guys ;)

Our club was going to buy one purely for the very young players however the pace does not get high enough for anybody else which is a shame

What specific age ranges do you think this machine is aimed at, purely for garden practice?

9 - 13 I would say, I assume you could use it in a real net as well, wish they made it quicker though

Paceman Strike & Pro Bowling Machines on Vimeo (http://vimeo.com/66387715) check these out- do you think it's better to wait until these are released? (apparently in August in Australia) these machines look a lot more sturdy and use harder balls, they also bowl quicker I presume.
