any hint of costs?
-
All the Asics shoes look good again. Not a fan of the word PUMA written on the shoe, but the colour combo is not bad.
-
$170 Puma
$200 Asics Gel Advance
$170 Gully
$180 Strike Rate
All prices are estimates and in AUD
-
all those asics look so nice!! better start saving up ;)
-
Puma shoes are well Pricey!!! Asics look good though!!
-
those gel gully 3's look gorgeous!
-
Love the asics spikes. Always been a fan and these look as good as any other spikes!
-
love the new gel gully colour scheme. Pity I just bought a new pair of spikes.
-
Hmm, the orange asics look to have a new style of spikes on the sole. Twist in points? As opposed to them fitting onto the circle of plastic base. Either that or they are inside the sole, which would mean they are replacable, but I would doubt that.
-
They are strike rates Asics have done them before
Are they releasing any new speed menaces (bowling boots)
The asics look amazing in my opinion

They can be replaced with blanks for use on hard wickets.
-
love the gel gullys and like the strikerate...personally not a fan of the others
-
Not a fan of those pumas at all! Favourites would be strike rates and gel advance 5's. Will probably very pricey by the time they come to our shores.

Not entirely what I was stating, more that the studs arent the same as standard studs (have another look) they are fitted further into the shoe rather than onto the sole. Meaning once they rub down/shorten they may/may not be replaceable
-
First pic of those Pumas had me thinking "eeeerrrr", but by the third pic I wanted them. What the?
-

Ah I see what you mean. You can buy replacement 'pins' so it looks like they can be replaced.
-
The studs on the strike rates are the same as those on the strike rates up until this year. Plenty of places sell replacements.
-
The pin 'key' is shaped to fit into the hole, quite a good innovation really. Much better than standard spikes IMO, means they can't get worn down to the point that they can't be replaced!
-
Ah perfect, I hadn't seen/paid attention to that before!
Asics range this year looks really impressive!
-
Not a fan of those Puma shoes, but the Gully 3's in purple and gold look sweet!
-
All those asics look seriously nice, might have to get saving!
-
Quick question - does the asics main store on Oxford Street in London have a cricket section? I couldn't really confirm whether they did based on the website. Looking for a pair of Gel Peakes: http://www.asics.co.uk/cricket/products/gel-peake-men/ (http://www.asics.co.uk/cricket/products/gel-peake-men/)
If any of the forum sponsors are stocking these - please message me!

New Balance 4040 they're called
-
Liking the look of those purple and gold Asics.
-
why cant i see the pics at the start of the thread >:( :(
like the new balances
-
apparently the new balance spikes are terrible. One county bowler managed to rip all the spikes out in a weeks use!
-
Does anyone know if Asics will be doing a new speed menace shoe or are they carrying it through to this year?
