Those who follow me will see I tweeted about a Maestro from GM back in April.
Well, here it is:

Will only be stocked in the big Aussie retailers I believe

The Zona graphics have grown on me, but the shape has not, I would use a Maestro if it comes to the UK.
-
How is profile like?
-
Would've looked much nicer with their traditional colourway for the Meastro.

New Icon used by 'Steve' Watson...

Ha classic!!! Someone wasn't paying attention.
-
Looks absolutely stonking :) I will be very tempted to buy it :D
-
Have to say I prefer the current stickers with the embossed GM standing clear of the back ground!!!
-
I'd love to see someone release a genuine "blast from the past" bat and not just use the name
-
Stickers look average ( Colours wise) but the profile will hopefully make up for it.
-
There are also pictures of a purist as a new model on that Aus GM website.

Yeah, seems a bit of a waste of time tbh, likely to be a totally different profile, and hideous modern stickers with no resemblance to the original. Don't really like GN's retro efforts much but they've done it much better than GM seem to be doing at least.
-
So possibly for next season GM are going back completely , we have just had news on the purist, now this ! I wonder if they will do diamond next or something ?
-
Probably do it without the diamond shaped part!
-
Yes you're probably right. >:( ;)
-
Whats the F2 about?
-
It's do do with the new flatter faces, the F2 bats have only 2mm difference between the edges and the highest point of the face, and the F7's(I think) have a more traditional 7mm difference.
