certainly was around lincs/cambs how about elsewhere

Our match was cancelled today, but must have been one of the few in the Hampshire League that was, as far as I know most other games went ahead.
As for being the first bad weather day, we had one of those first game of the season, start as you mean to go on and all...
-
It's poured today, drove back from Essex at 3pm, m11 was like a river, at 60mph I could just see 12feet ahead. So much for summer, we don't have a game tomorrow but if we did I doubt it would go ahead
-
Our game was cancelled today around 11am. We did have heavy rain but then had sunshine from 2pm until 9pm

Yea shame you missed out Rob, we played up at Easton-In-Gordano. Lashing down at 1.30 but dry and sunny the rest of the day so started by 3.

We had showers until about 6. Reduced to 31 overs and finished at about 8. We lost. Pitch was a mudbath by the end...good thing it was away
-
In North Yorkshire we missed the showers. I saw some on the horizon and past through a couple on the way home.
Considering the forecast we had a very good afternoon for cricket.
So far only missed one game due the weather, which, as we only had 8 players was a bonus,

We got a full game in down in Kent, few showers here and there but nothing substantial. Most of the heavy weather missed us.

:) ha ha you pommies wouldn't survive in Aussie , I've played when its been that hot the zinc cream on your face turned into liquid , and the bitchamun on the road starting to melt
-
Ah, we may seem wimpy to you - but we can at least spell 'bitumen'. Unless of course 'bitchamun' is some Aussie slang I don't know which means "how are ya doing ya raw prawn".
