Dint get this done the other night, and since then I've been really busy with work and fixing 2 other bats, but this is where I'm at with it at the moment. You get the idea, it's glued up a treat!!!
Bit more work to do, but should be there soon!

Thanks,
Its such a big clean brake I should not need to dowel it. time will tell!
-
So someone had thrown it away? That's a good find, what model is it?
They normally glue up quite well, it's always a gamble if it will actually hold though.
-

-
Is it for sale Ross

You're round.

At first, because of where I found it I though it might have been one of the young pros at NCCC. I found it on a road, near the ground, I know some of them will have diggs round there. However thinking about it more, it was with a load, and i mean load of cardboard boxes, roughtly outside a sport shop. So i think they must have had it returned, and then put it out - would have thought they would send it back to GM.
I was just a lucky guy! It was fathers day after all!!!
Its a 606 the stickers have some how have come off!
I don't know how GM grades bats but it's quite responsive, with decent grains. I was surprised it was an "grade 3".

Does not seem right to sell it, I'll see if there's anyone at the club who would benefit from it, maybe a student or something! Maybe get a few quid for the repair. They only cost 110 quid new, quite a decent bat for that money, but I guess it all depends of course, you can get a good bat at any grade, as we all know.
Thanks for the kind words re the fix up lads, :-)

iv got one like this if anyone fancies giving it ago fixing it?
-
Looks a solid repair job, very nice.
Seems odd that the sports shop didn't send it back to GM for repair/replacement.
Had a couple of similar repairs in recently, it's always satisfying to see the customers face when they see a new lease of life for their blade.
