A month or so ago, bored & with debit card in hand I decided that the K'Burra Kahuna 'Ricky Ponting' edition bat I had just wasn't good enough for a rubbish village cricketer like me (Bad workman & all that) and that a new bat was in order...
After some discussion on twitter I decided to go for the Great White 5 Fin from Shark & boy did I make a good choice....
Order Process & Deliver
Order process was nice and easy, spoke with the guys from Shark on Twitter about what I wanted, ordered through the website, all done on a Thursday night around 8:30pm. To my amazement I got a knock on the door Saturday morning with my bat...
Bat Spec
Great White 5 Fin, 2lb 11Oz weight was exact on delivery, short handle.
Pickup
Amazing.... Pick up is balaced and incredibly light. Anybody that has picked the bat up things it weighs around 2,6-2,8

I've never owned a bat like it, I could tell it was going to be nice what I first hit it with a mallet. I've used loads in the nets & a few times in the middle & can safely say the bat goes, it's just in the hands of somebody that doesn't know how to use it properly....
I'd definately recommend anybody to deal with Shark/get this bat. I have been incredibly impressed with both.

I really like the profile. Out of interest how much did this set you back?

Looks a good bat. Shame we don't hear much from them on this forum.

That's a top bat !!!

I got it for £165 in the end.

For that price it seems a cracker of a bat. I hope she gets you an abundance of runs.
