Best/Worst Changing Room Habits?
I have a bit of OCD with my kit, I have it all out neatly placed. Wicketkeepers all seem to be the same!
Does your dressing room have a pecking order, youngs corner captains spot etc?
Whos the worst, any bat chuckers, tantrum throwers or towel stealers.

I have my Captain Coy's corner.
About 5 pegs to put my kit and on clothing etc
-
always the same place in the home dressing room and tend to be similar places in away dressing rooms if i can remember from the previous year. kit wise i tend to just throw mine around. no particular order or system. always end up hunting for that missing inner lol

Had the same corner in our home changing room since I started for the club, got to the point now where people just know where my bag will go. Us keepers are a strange bunch...

Haha my vice captain for the school 1stXI got out for a duck in the first game, walked into the change room, and kicked the stool door with his spikes putting a dirty hunk in the door, also when he was doing this, he slipped over. I have never seen him that embarrassed before.
Our home dressing rooms are a bit too small to lay out your gear, so I have to keep it all in my bag :L.
Also before games, we pump loud party tunes and we all dance and get hyped, and we keep doing it in the changeroom. We had a big south african playing for us and damn, he got agressive when he listened to that music, ended up tackling myself and my twin brother into the wall, luckily it didnt hurt ;)

Same spot in home dressing room, have to start getting their early though as it is also Buzz's fave spot. Last time I had it, he went to my 2nd choice spy and got 95, a clear sign things should stay that way :) also means I can lay my kit out on a physio table.

I always have my corner by the window so I can still watch the game and the captain has his aswell but we have quite a few bat and helmet throwers so make sure my stuff is in the gape between the wall and the bench

I always got for a corner where possible...
Not so much in adult cricket but in my youth teams I always set my kit out nicely against the wall...
I also have to watch the game when I'm next in, if I'm not mentally ready I just never feel right.

We have name tags with our nicknames on above our pegs. A lot of the youth players tend to sit in the spots of the players they look up to in their junior games. Not sure what the 2nd team think of having to sit under our name tags but hey ho.
I typically pack my bag very neatly the night before (I'm a keeper) and then it begins to slowly spread across the changing room during the game. I like to be last out the changing room when we are fielding, that's my only real superstition.

What's your nickname then Jake?
I find sitting near the toilet works for me - there's nothing like a jumbo pre-batting poo to focus the mind.
-
'Dusty' - My surname is Miller so the Geoff Miller thing has stuck.

i have one corner at home games which i always sit in at both my clubs and at away games i always sit in the corner i move bags if need be :D also both bats which i have brought with me get stood up next to me . I also get padded up in an order too. If i am not opening when i am 3 wickets away my strippers and box go on, 2 wickets pads and 1 gloves, helmet as i go out to bat. Normally in top 4 though so not all of that happens. strange habbits but its worked so far

That last point, what about Kingston Lacy, when me and Dom were batting us to victory and you were running around with your pads on playing football!
My Saturday team, I have the back corner, a nice chair there, room for a duffle and a table next to me for all my paper work.
Sunday team, got stuck on the end of a row, by the door when I first started playing and I have stayed there ever since.
I generally leave my kit in a mess until after the game, then when everyone has cleared the changing rooms I'll go in and sort my stuff out, into piles. Clean whites, stuff to be washed, kit, etc. And then pack it up

I'm the bat thrower in the team :( wish I wasn't !!!

I claim the table in my teams dressing room, spread my kit out over it. Just far enough away from the showers and the door so you don't get people trampling over your stuff. Close enough to the balcony so you can see whats going on when your in the changing room.
