Got this from a mate.  It's origins are a bit sketchy & it's been sitting unused in his shed for a couple of years. Apparently it was originally stickered as a Puma Vendetta and the back of the bat was painted black. You can see the evidence from the first picture. He had scraped the paint off and removed the Puma stickers and replaced with some Slazenger Hypderblade stickers from Ebay. I've removed those stickers and cleaned it up a bit more. I haven't seen this shape in a Puma bat so skeptical that it's a genuine Puma.  It has a nice shape with very slight concaving.  Haven't weighed it but it picks up lightly. Nice grains on the face but the finish on the back is a bit iffy. Any opinions or ideas on it's origins.

Middle seems extremely long... Extends from the toe nearly all the way to the splice

I have owned a Puma Vendetta and this does not bring back any memories. I recall Kookaburra having a black back about 8-10 years ago.

think it could be a puma vendetta....may be wrong tho...shape looks pretty right, I also remeber newbery doing something similar shape - think it was the zues.

after looking at those picture on Ebay it looks like it probably is a Vendetta.  Not sure why the back was painted though because it's a nice bit of willow and rebounds really nicely.  Thanks for the help.

My instinct also says that it could be a Kokoo. I have seen a similar bat with almost same shape on a kokoo. Not sure about the black back.
