KP is my fav english batsmen. He will rock. Aussies should beware of him. He is back to form.

Will be interesting to see what the ECB do with their selection for the friendly with Essex before hand. I'd like to see KP in it if they'll treat it seriously to give him as much opportunity in the middle as possible before the 1st test against the Aussies!
It was confirmed this morning on sky sports that kp is defo in that team I believe .

He's done alright with two lives when he nicked off to Siddy and umpire gave not out (says the Yorkshireman).

Not just the Yorkshireman mate - my Slurry supporting mate is reportingont eh game and confirms that at least one of them was a shocking decison.

Sounds like the old W G Grace story applied to KP... 'They came to watch me bat not you umpire'

if the decisions were shocking, ECB must have given a standing order for kp to spend lots of time at the crease ;)
but with him back, england have the ashes all sewn up (they were favourites without him as well).

U think the ecb gave yorkshire a backhander for kp to get plenty of time at the crease suppose stranger things have happened haha

So England's disruptive influence is back? If only we weren't so busy sacking coaches and whatnot ;P

Could be worth a cheeky few on him being the ashes top run scorer

Extended highlights of Kevin Pietersen's 177* against Yorkshire at Headingley (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqsnqycCUdA#ws)

I got so much pleasure from watching that.

Personal highlights:

The umpire ducking the leg spin half volleys before they had even pitched lol!
The keeper applauding the reverse sweep.
The scoop shot and wrist speed behind it.

His speed of movement for that scoop was phenomenal.

Also loved the bits where he just stood and admired, while his partner sprinted the ones.

Who makes KP's bats?

Adidas of course lol

Heard a rumour a while backit was Hawk but your guess is as good as mine if there is any truth in that. Also heard Newbery at one point early in his career

I remember KP mentioning in an interview he gets them shipped in from India.

Hawk had the deal to make the Addidas pro bats when they first launched, dunno if they still do. On their twitter page they showed pictures of Gayle's bat / tree and Dhoni's bat they had in to do work on. So they must be highly thought of amongst the professional players.
