Well after his performance thus far , how many people are going to start giving him the praise he deserves ave seeen a few topics on here about how u all think he should be out the England line up and how he's had too many chances now what do you guys think.
-
He bowled well and he showed Trott how to catch Kholi!
I have a feeling he may have to bat well too, as I have a suspicion that the wicket won't be easy to bat on!!!!
-
I think they will chase with the same lineup no position changes cant risk it put the experience in first.
If ravi bats well man of the match material :-[

if england wins, bopara is already in prime position for man of the match...having said that cook just got out
-
To be honest bopara could be put forward for englans player of the tournament bur think trott has that one :D
-
Sadly that is the reason why Bopara gets criticised. Has he ever seen a game home for England? I remember him getting out with 2 to win once. Players should be judged when the heat is on and sadly England are imploding.
-
I agree but ar least he didnt get out as early as cook and trott thats who I blame

No, Bopara and Morgan are to blame as they got in and threw it away. We needed 20 off 16 which we should've got at a canter. India have played the best cricket of the tournament.
-
No overthrows are to blame and the fact we panicked big time what was Bopara signalling

But are they say if cook had out in another 20 runs or even 10 and then trott 10 runs we wouldnt of been in the position of needing bopara and morgan to win it for us
-
have to admit i am one of the bopara skeptics but he really played well in this tournament. hope he is consistent for england's sake.

I can't remember but has he been selected for the t20 side ? Just hes gonna be away from the setup for a good 3 months with the ashes so he'll just have to work hard and we will see him in September hopefully still consistent unless there is a surprise call for him in the ashes

They are 'if's' and 'buts', Bopara 'was' in and should've seen us home.
-
I'm gutted guys.. waited all day to see the game.. watched India's innings and then the first 4 England overs.. 24-1 coasting... then had to go out and watch my fiance in a concert.. couldn't find it so came home to find us needing 30 odd runs...
Then I couldn't believe my eyes... what a collapse? i've never been in such a game situation so can't imagine the pressure. Yes England threw it away and the best team won at the end of the day which they ably just demonstrated. I say to my kids when coaching we win as a team.. we lose as a team.
Bopara had a good tournament as did others like trott and anderson...let's just move on and look forward to the Ashes!!
