Title: Running Injury
Post by: farnham_quins_2 on June 24, 2013, 09:31:52 PM
Not exactly cricket related, but when I go running I tend to find the top of my thigh, almost groin, starts hurting after a few Ks. This is on my right leg. Only happened last few times (spread over a few weeks) that ive been running.

Im thinking im probably doing more/less work with one leg when I run? Hence the muscle pain? Although not really sure.

Any physios/anyone with exeperince with some insight would be welcome

Might be a tight Rec Fem, but hard to tell over a laptop.    Try SMR, (foam rolling) on your quads, and stretch it out, if not try Ktape.

warm up properly.  Its probably a quad issue, and they only happen when you try to go too fast too soon.

yeah, don't do those first 2 km to quick..... FFS....

Go and see a phsyo if its bad enough. No point in people guessing about injuries.
