Title: Tim ambrose smoking
Post by: Lou9490 on June 26, 2013, 04:47:44 PM
Was watching the pro-40 the other day and saw that after tim ambrose got out he was smoking on the changing room balcony. Just wondered whether not smoking wasn't as strict for pro cricketers as it is for other sports like football

A number of pro footballers smoke too. Zidane was one of the more famous ones.

Rob key indeed-the only reason he did not play more matches for England in his prime was he didnt fit the new style management.
He is built as he is the bloke could never be slim.
Quite a few do smoke the original has got to be tuffets thou.
Did a charity walk with him years back superb bloke.
He gave me a lucozade bottle halfway thru it was orange and tequila!!

various pros smoke they just do a better job of hiding it...
When a certain overseas player was at Essex he would leave the field for a 'comfort break' after his spell had finished. and also went home the wrong way to go to a newsagents his wife wouldn't use to buy said fags.

Not only will it stunt his already stunted growth, its his place of work and smoking is banned under legislation, also if the public can't smoke at a designated sports ground why can he.

Don't get me wrong I'm an ex smoker, 20 years without one but I used to eat them.

The whole Leeds United team of the 70's, Bremner, Charlton, etc all smoked, they also reckon that sprinters like a hit of nicotine just before the gun.

Now where's me lighter
