Title: Knocking In Service in the West Midlands area?
Post by: Lensman23 on June 27, 2013, 06:30:52 PM: Hey peeps. Just put my order in for a custom Hawk bat, and would love the peace of mind that I can reduce the risk of damage to it with a good knocking in service, but do you guys know of anyone who will that for me (apart from Boundary Sports)

They have stopped taking postal orders, so I don't fancy travelling to London to hand it in.

Sounds good. How do you knock the bat in? Hand, press, machine or a combination of all three?

All by hand. I use the rim of a sink to roll the edges, but apart from that its me, some oil, my trusty mallet and elbow grease.
