Morning all - I should really have done a rather comprehensive review of this bat previously, but I haven't been able to get it in the nets much recently due to work.
Needless to say this is a fabulous bat. I will do a full review on the train home this evening for everyone, however, I know how this forum works... we only really want to see the lovely pictures, because, lets face it, all bats on here have feather light pic ups and ping like stink/make the noise of a cannon...
oh and this is grainylicious too
Many thanks to Dom for making this wonderful bat
Oh and the weight is under 2lbs 9

That looks bloody gorgeous! Doms really coming along nicely with his bat making!
-
That looks gorgeous, love the stickers too.....

I think this is a little unfair on Dom... he has been making bats of a very high standard for a while, it is just they were sold under a different brand.
what we can say now is that his own brand is going to be fantastic.
-
Ahh right didn't know, his skills look fantastic
-
Nice bat, the stickers look great and very upmarket, does it have a price to match?
Who did he used to make bats for?
-
lovely buzz! looks very nice!
i picked out a cleft yesterday hope its grain tastic! as always hard to tell until its planed!
-
That bat look special!
-
Looks lovely Buzz! Any chance of some profile shots? Difficult to see from the first images.
-
very nice, great to see some beauties coming from the south west under Doms own label!
-
The shape reminds me of affinity dunno if that was the brand he made bats for or what
-
Nope think ur off the mark there
-
Wasn't it for the dark overlord??
-
Dom is indeed a skilled maker I have witnessed only his handy work on a weight reduction and he did it very very well
I like this bat Phillip it looks a dazzler nice profile as well just up my street
-
What are the price of these bats??? £150??

Not in the same ballpark mate!
It does look a great bat though, although it doesnt have 40mm edges, how will it hit a ball anywhere? haha
-
looks belter!

Think that's a tad harsh not in the same ball park
When has price had anything to do with cricket bats
I find people narrow minded on here funny 90 per cent of people don't know the difference when 9 out if 10 bats are the same.
Stickers and finish do not make a cricket bat but Dom finish is very good.
So go on ciaran tell us what the main difference between shills and Marcus bats find it a bit odd people are comparing without giving the said bat at least half a season to see
-
It looks like a nice bat but wondering if the price matches the looks/style. Anyone know roughly how much they cost?
-
I'm in the same boat as VC, would like to know how much these cost as that bat does look very, very nice!

Take a look in the bat makers shed mate
-
I can't find the bat makers shed, is it a members only thing?

Initial prices on the first 20 bats sold through the forum will be as follows - 150 plus postage for grade 1, 140 plus postage for grade 2 and 130 plus postage for grade 3 willow. These bats will be stamped accordingly on the shoulder.
After that the prices will revert to 180 plus postage for grade 1, 160 plus postage for grade 2 and 130 plus postage for grade 3. All bats sold will come with anti-scuff and a tin of my own bat-wax - pictures of these will follow! The website is being developed and hopefully will provide a little more clarity and information.
Hope that makes sense!
Dom's words
-
very tempting
-
glad people like it! the bat shape is a cross between a GM Argon and a Hades, so not too much concaving and slightly off-set edges.
lovely bat, period.
I just need to have a chance to use it...
-
Lovely Bat !!

I've been utterly rubbish this past few weeks with regards to messages etc - so apologies to those who have not heard anything in a week or so. I'm starting to get on top of things again and have the added benefit of being on an 8 week holiday......tremendous :)
Let me know when you hit your first triple hundred with it Buzz, tis' only a matter of time :)
