Title: Wisden 150 limited edition bat

Just seen these on barringtons web site, anyone know who makes them? They look quite classy but £395- ouch!

I think they will probably be very very nice bats then. If anyone takes the plunge would love to see some pics. I suppose if only 150 are been made then £395 isnt tooo bad.

Wouldn't bother with even checking if I have my wallet as not for me. Very average bats and nothing to encourage spending £390 for this bat.

Rather go for a custom AJK or a Affinity.

I'm kind of with you on that! The Hawk players bats are very decent but are these limited editions better in the same way that that AJK bats are better than the Salix players bats? Not sure!
Yash, you need to pop in and tap one or two up and update us fella?

But I am not sure (given the choice) that I'd choose this over an AJK or even over a choice praetorian LE!
I could be wrong, but these wisden bats would need to be absolute humdingers to get anywhere close!!

The hawk players bat I've got is special. There knockin out some fantastic bats at the moment, agreed the price is a bit extreme. I think your paying more for the wisden name than the bat maker there.

Have seen and tapped these bats. Nothing special. Only targeted towards collectors who want to keep these in a display rather than use them.

I see them being given as gifts to wealthy men as gifts/retirement etc
