Title: Guess the weight and the origin of this little beauty.
Post by: Ryan on July 03, 2013, 09:45:48 PM: I've been asked to repair this lovely SS bat, one of our first team players travels up and down the country as a "net bowler". Recently he was down at the oval while the ICC was in full flow. He's good friends with a few pros and was given this bat by one of them, it has a little crack in the shoulder so needs a repair.

Anyway, I thought it would be a good idea to have a game of guess the weight and the player.

Post by: Vitas Cricket on July 03, 2013, 10:21:10 PM: Looks quite small for a pro bat, even looks fairly small for a TON. I'm guessing/assuming (based on other pro bats I've seen) that this will be a light piece of wood, so I reckon 2'6.

Player could be anyone, the face will likely give it away.

I'd say it was a big bar for the weight. Edges are around 38mm and spine 60mm. Hadley any concaving
