what bats are more effective in english conditions is it english bats or indian bats or does it rely on the way the bat is made because i was looking at and sg and liked the look of it but was worried that it may not be as effective on an english pitch as a bat that was made by an english manufacturer for example

A good bat is as effective as the player. Its important that you get a bat that meet your requirements related to weight , pickup, middle position etc. Once you have an idea about these things, you can start looking for that in indian/uk or any other bat . All Brands on this forum like h4L/Blank Bat/ Bulldog /Aldred etc can provide you a quality bat based on your requirement. They can also guide you on what kind of bat will suit your play style.
Pros travel all over the world and they can use use bat made in one country always but made according to their requirements.
