Post by: patty93 on August 25, 2009, 04:21:55 PM
i'm looking to use this service and just wondered if anyone has any past experiences?
just your opinions are fine but a before/after picture would be brilliant.
cheers in advance,
Luke

Just out of interest, and i know this will sound like a stupid question, but what bat are you interested in getting refurbishing by kookaburra?

The refurbishment service by kookaburra seems to be decent. I returned a new bat which cracked and they did a refurbishment free of charge and it came up nice. Finishing of the bat wasnt brilliant, but wasnt bad I suppose. I have the price list of their refurbishments and they are mid-priced when compared to other companies.

it's a kookaburra mayhem.
i'm aware you do your own refurbishments and would have came to you if i had a different bat that couldn't be refurbed by the company.

No its nothing to do with that mate, I am not touting for business on every single topic. All im saying is that I have a set of RP kahuna stickers on their way so this is the one time i could help you out! However mate, like I said, its up to you! Im not going to post on every single topic that mentions refurbs lol.

If you do send the bat to kookaburra, you wont be disappointed. The bats I have had done by them have come up lovely. They reduce the bat to the white wood, but like i said, the 1 thing they could improve on is the finish, however, still a good company to get a refurb from.

considering there's just been a bank holiday and it's the end of the season i would imagine they are very busy at the moment - give them a couple days at least to reply.
