Title: Shahid afridi
Post by: smilley792 on July 15, 2013, 07:01:17 AM
Still my favourite player ever, but that's a different matter.

Last night. 76 of 55 balls. Then 7 for 12? Has there been a better already performance in an odi?

Also whoever had brain fade and dropped him from the championship trophy, needs to be sent to the job centre.

(yes he's inconsistent, but when he comes off, he can win any game!)

He also comes with a load of baggage and controversy. No doubt about his talent, but is that worth having in the side at his age? How long has he got in him left?

Paul Collingwood scored a century and took 6-31 in an ODI

Big statement that, can't recall Chris Martin taking apart anyone with his not so dynamic batting ability!  ;)

Afridi is my favorite player as well. He has plenty of life in him to play 5 or 6 years more and when Afridi came to bat that day the team was 5 down for a very low score and he rebuilt the entire innings !
