Title: Searching for a big bag!
Post by: patriotscreen on July 16, 2013, 05:57:39 AM
Hi guys,

I think I am due an upgrade on the GM Original Wheelie as it is impossible to get all my kit in. This is what I take to each game so I need to know what bags will suffice, also I like to be quite organised:

2 bats, batting pads, batting gloves, box, spikes, WK gloves, inners, pads, thigh guard, knee supports, cap, various spare balls, keys/phone/wallet (Need to be secure), clothing (socks, jock, boxers, trousers, baselayer, shirt), various bits and bobs (sun screen, tape, plasters, scissors etc...)

Need quite a lot of space, have been looking at the Hunts County almighty but am not sure it is that sturdy looking, I liked at the GM LE Duplex with the bat cave but there isn't room for WK pads aswell so I am a bit stuck.

Not really fussed about looks just want something that is practical, reliable and won't blow the bank. Any ideas?

Salix pod one seems to be a good bag, it has much more little pockets for the bits and bobs than the hunts/gm bags

Kookaburra Pro Players Wheelie Cricket Bag Review

I have one of these, its got a place for everything. Especially like the 3 compartments for your bats.

This bag is huge and cheap. Also has dividers to keep organised. I have one and had no problems with it at all

Salix pod allkit, more space than you could ever want and made out of high quality strong material.

Don't get the kook players bag I had one and the handle ripped....really poor quality!

I have the Newbery tour and fit all of what you want to fit in very very easily with room to spare, you also get a divider with the tour bag

Best, big bag Ive used is from CJI Cricket in Bournemouth.  http://www.cjicricket.com/CJI-Cricket-Bags.html (http://www.cjicricket.com/CJI-Cricket-Bags.html)

It has sections for boots, helmet, clothes and 2 bag pouches in the top!

Are they still selling the Island Sports XL wheelie on eBay, that might be worth looking at
