Afternoon all, meant to post this a while ago but stoll hopefully of interest to some now.
On Friday August 9th we will be opening launch of our new cricket pavillion in Minehead (West Somerset). As part of the opening we will be playing a T20 match against Somerset. Entry is completely free of charge and should be a great day with the bar open, BBQ etc.
We've been told this week that the Somerset side will include the following players:
Marcus Trescothick
Craig Kieswetter
Jos Buttler
James Hildreth
Peter Trego
Jamie Overton
Craig Overton
Steve Kirby
Would be great if anyone could come along, should be a good day and nice to have some support!

The day I go on holiday. Damn.
-
I met him through a work dinner as my company do quite a lot in terms of sponsorship with the Enhland cricket team and he seemed ok, was quite happy to speak to people and talk about the game and didn't give it any of the billy big (No Swearing Please) when I met him. Then again he would have had to be on best behaviour when at a formal function I guess.
Good luck bowling to that lot, trescothick may be out though after his ankle went last night.
-
Not a bad line up you have there. Good luck with it all.
-
Good luck, that should be a great game.
Does Stuart Tudball still play at Minehead? He used to do coaching at the Butlins. I won a free weeks holiday down there in the 80's when he selected me as 'Boy of the week' one year. Got to visit Taunton because of him as well.
Top man.

He does indeed! Live just down the road from Stu, he's the life and soul of the club! Also the main man behind the whole of this event, absolute legend.
