Does anybody on the forum own one of these?
The more I see trott using one and look at them online the more I'm thinking I should try one of these. Are they made by GM or B3 or Indian made? Very hard to find any info about them.
-
indian made through and through, ping ok, look ok, pick up really well, not worth the best part of 400 quid at all
-
I know where the players bats are made but not the stock.

That its a GM, I reckon Dave will have a little something to say about it!
-
He currently has a mixed bag a few left from his old days and some new ones all designed by the doctor

Where ever Trott's bats are sourced from, and I don't think its GM. Its certainly not the same source as makes the off the shelf New Balance bats that we would buy. They appear grossly over priced, with labels that look like they were knocked up as part of a primary school IT project.
-
THey're almost the same thing anyway aren't they?
-
Very different bats differently pressed but designed by the same man yes.
Got to love a good story but there nothing to say really
I once played against the new balance cricket man Kenny Jackson who played in the Ribblesdale League
People know where Trotts bats come from and even the model number and the ones who don't don't.
-
If there Indian made you could probably get a SS or SG cheaper and would be as good.
That and the stickers are awful
-
I think it's obvious to see from Dave's posts that they are not Indian made?

From reading, the stock ones are, the players ones aren't!
-
But it doesn't matter, because they all say New Balance, and therefore they are all New Balance bats! We also know that Indian made bats are very good, if a little soft perhaps, so that shouldn't deter you from buying one. The branding however, should!

Is the branding worse than B3?

Is the branding worse than B3?
Sorry lol, is that the point we are arguing? I thought we were just talking about the relative merits of New Balance bats. And IMO, the branding is much worse!
-
Nothing wrong with b3 branding but as far as I know new balance bats are new balance bats
As nick says I suspect Indian made but who knows
Still see people buying for stickers well that's up to them as well
Trott uses a bat with new balance stickers
-
Their is one on eBay that is signed by trott for 400 the chap said it is a gm but with new balance stickers on it looks like a gm to me
