Title: Terminal?
Post by: kaz on July 23, 2013, 05:12:45 PM: Got this of ebay last year. Considering it was atleast 15 years old then (I think) it was in near perfect condition. Unfortunately used it in a match without properly preping it beforehand and paid the ultimate price - crack straight down the bat. The salix royal was the top of the range bat then and considering its in alright nick (apart from the crack obviously), I think its worth repairing if possible. Recon if this is fixable?

Post by: SOULMAN1012 on July 23, 2013, 05:40:46 PM: Honestly mate I would send it back to Salix. I know Andrew would love to work on one of his original Salix bats. That it fully repairable and I bet with some tlc, oil and a bit of playing in again will be as good as new.

If you want to send it to me I'll get Andrew to look at it for you mate and let you know what can be done and get a price for you to repair.

Ball park would be about £35 mate. Max would be £45 as that's the most I have seen Salix charge for a repair and refurb.

I can assure you that would not be the case mate no company would ever offer a life time warranty.
