Title: Bat twisting in my hands
Post by: Kulli on July 25, 2013, 07:02:17 AM
Never something that's happened before, but in the last few weeks I've found that when I drive the ball the bat often twists towards the legside in my hands.

Previously I used a round handle with a fairly thick grip, and this year I've been using one with an oval bottom band and just one grip, but I'm not sure how that would cause this to happen.

Any ideas?

More bottom hand because of the thinner handle maybe??

I used to have this issue but it was down to me using two really thick grips on my bats and I cut down to a single grip and all was rectified. I have smallish hands anyway but I guess that doesn't help much lol. Your bottom hand may be taking over with the oval handle, they ate a completely different feel in the hands. You could be gripping the bat too hard when driving because of the difference in handle shape.  I can't use a round handle bat at all, it just feels odd to me so maybe this is similar.
Best off asking the Oracle....

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you should hire.... The B team.

Buzz!!

Where are you old chap?

I sometimes have the same issue. I tried with one grip and I just don't like the feel at all

Ba, new gloves and new grip, only thing I can think of is the smaller handle meaning I'm gripping it less firmly.
