Title: Knee injury
Post by: The Palmist on July 28, 2013, 06:50:42 AM
Landed on my knees instead of sliding with left knee taking the full body weight. There are no bruises as such but man it hurts. Doesn't hurt when keeping it straight but hurts when bending even tiny bit.

I am hoping it will pass in a day or two. I have got it wrapped up warm in a bandage, any other suggestions will be welcome.

RICE

Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation. You need ice on it to reduce the swelling.... I would take off the warm bandage...

thanks mate, there is no swelling though, not yet anyway.

Pain seems to be concentrated in the side of knee roll.

Rest it as much as poss, ice won't hurt, and some pain killers

Will give it another 24-36 hours before visiting docs...waiting times here are really bad.
