Title: Custom Indian Soft's Supplier.
Post by: Rowan on August 09, 2013, 01:19:02 PM
Hi guys,
Lately, I've been very interested in gloves and pads.
So I've been researching indian companies to see how much mark up actually goes into a pair of pads and gloves, so I was wondering what companies you guys know of in India that make gloves or pads. I already know of Champ and FC Sondhi. A website is ideal, a facebook page is even better!.
Thanks in advance guys
Rowan

Absolute tosh.

there are loads of people who you can reliable get Indian gear from. In fact the Indian gear is now pretty main stream.
Online stockist is a guy and a shed in India with a website who sends out Indian sized (i.e. small) gear on a sometimes reliable and sometime not basis.

They seems to have got a fair few mentions recently, but if you want Indian softs I would be on the phone to Aswani, Uzi sports, Vitas (for example) well before gambling on the internet.

p.s. I am moving this topic as it is in the wrong place.

Not sure who set that rule.
Pakistan rules the cricket balls market - no one can beat then at reasonably priced good quality balls....You do have to know the right source....because you can easily get cheated when dealing with sub continent supplier.
CA and MB are established brands.
FYI - i am not from Pakistan.

Very harsh.

Much of the gear I use and have used is from onlinestockist.com

Ajit exists and he delivers.

OK, so his grand father has died three times a year every year since I first ordered from him, BUT, he always delivers the goods and my most recent SS LE bat arrived six days after ordering.

Ajit is a good guy who gets a bad rap over nothing more than his habit of being economical with the truth over one or two week delays on his deliveries.

Rule of thumb: drop shipping stuff arrives about 2-3 weeks after order and if he has the item in stock (he always has stacks of SS bats etc handy), you will get it circa a week after you ordered it.

Ajit Singh is simply misunderstood.

Before any of you ask, NO, I am not on any commission etc to speak well of the guy.

Online Stockist is MILES cheaper than UK based retailers selling Indian gear. Some of these retailers sponsor the forum.

But equally, onlinestockist can mess you about, especially if his grandfather has died again this week.

I have just been bought blank pads and gloves from OnlineStockist and they were bought by my OH.

Delivery took a while but she said they were fantastic to deal with and communication was great from them.

Came with free inners and bat face.

Seriously cheap and ill never buy main stream brands again

What an odd comment to make...  ??? Baseless as well I'd assume.
