Title: Tea makers
Post by: WalkingWicket37 on August 09, 2013, 06:41:44 PM
Well I'm about to go off to a well known supermarket to do the shopping for my 4th tea of the season.
Any other tea makers out there willing to post what they're going to do??

Tomorrow teas will be:

2 white and 2 brown loaves, split equally between cheese, ham & chicken tikka sandwiches
A selection of crisps
Mini scotch eggs
Mini Cornish pasties
Breaded chicken bites
Cocktail sausages
Pizza
Pasta in tomato sauce
Indian nibbley bits (onion bhajis, vegetable samosas & vegetable pakoras)
Strawberry Swiss roll
Chocolate Swiss roll
Mini doughnuts
And finally, fresh melon for the health conscious

I tend to go for warburtons pre cut rolls. Tad more expensive but saves time on cutting and buttering.

When you say "well known", I always tend to use Asda as it is on my route to the club. I always do them there.  Has anyone used anywhere cheaper such as Lidl?

I went to Tesco, I apparently saved £2.12 by shopping there!
Slight moment of amusement when I was asked for ID to buy plastic cutlery  :-[
