Title: My New Weapon
Post by: tailender on August 12, 2013, 06:48:20 PM
Just thought I would upload some photos of my new bat!

Purchased it on Friday, came this morning and O.M.G it looks like an absolute beast!

Hit it a few times with a mallet and it sounds lovely, its been waxed and feels great when I pick it up.

I don't know if I could get a better feeling bat for the price!!

Feedback appreciated :)

Yeah mate it feels really really good.

For the price I just don't think you can beat it at all. Id be happy to get this for much more than 110!!

Once ive knocked it in and used it I will let you know how it goes.

Just a quick update guys

Used the bat on sat and I am thoroughly impressed with it.

I scored 43 before deciding to leave a straight one... as you do.  But the bat was great! It picks up perfectly and sounds superb! I had a few guys asking me where I got it from too.

Would genuinely recommend the bat to anyone at the prices I paid!!!

I probably need to knock it in a little more as there are a few seam marks on it.

I do like that profile, do you have a shot up from the toe to show the scooping? Looks like a pretty big bat for the weight!

Is Vanquish the UK arm of MIDS?

MIDS? i dont think they are mate. From what i gather they are just an individual company.  They sent me several photos of bats on offer and to be honest they all look amazing.

I will post a few more snaps up on here when i get a chance. Im thinking about ordering another one while the sale lasts!!

If its been raining and the pitch is uncovered, I won't bother using it. The last thing you want is to damage your brand new bat with a swollen wet toe. Spend some more time knocking it in over the winter so its a proper gun for next season.
