I would say it would have to match the grade of the willow

It must be the same grade, correct, so it if is a 707 they won't put original LE stickers on it for example.

Providing they have stock, they will replace them with the same stickers that it had originally. If it is for example an older style icon, they will probably put more recent style icon stickers on it.

I think they are now out of stock of flare stickers so they will pop something else on a flare. I think it is worth including a preference in cases where they don't have replacements for the original labels.

We have recently had a friends old Maxi 909 refurbed. It is due back tomorrow, i am looking forward to seeing what stickers it returns to us with.

I got a GM flare back from them last week and it had the Flare stickers on there. So it might have been one of the last sets. They are very good if you email Steve Wilkinson at GM he is very helpful

Going back a few years ago I had a Purist Original rehandled by GM (it broke within a couple of months of owing it), it came back from GM with Original L.E. stickers !

I am not sure why it was an 'original' in the first place, it had no blemishes, 8 - 9 grains and could quite easily pass for a top of the range bat.  Sometimes I am really not sure how manufacturers classify the bats they produce.  ANd as everyone knows, if you buy a bat in person, you do it on pick up, and feel.  I £200 bat can perform just as well or better than a £400 bat.

I was thinking this when I contemplated sending mine back end of season. I guess they'll upgrade bats moreso than downgrade as they don't want people paying £167 for a bat to be downgraded to a £150 bat.

Only if they are out of stock of the stickers (or updated stickers) your bat currently has.

The Maxi we sent off came back as a Halo.

They are correct. They will try to keep the same model stickers on the reburbed bat.
My purist original came back as an icon original.

What are your preferences on stickers then?

I would adopt the if you don't ask approach... the worst they will say is no.
