Title: Glue for the splice?
Post by: Banksy on August 14, 2013, 01:08:09 PM
I've done some searching but cant find anything specifically on glue.

Can I just use PVA Wood adhesive in the splice? Or some other substance? I've seen bright white glues used, translucent yellowey types...

Would welcome any suggestions.

On the GM art of bat making video they say they use high quality PVA

I use waterproof PVA.  You can use hide glue, but that would need a melting pot for the glue.

PVA normally dries clear and is stronger than the wood
