Hi,
I purchased a GN Oblivion 5 star at the start of the season. It had a scuff sheet, which I removed and proceeded to oil it in before knocking it in. I was a little impatient and probably did not knock it in enough (maybe 3 hours total). The bat has absolutely zero ping. Absolutely nothing feels like it's off the middle. I was a little patient with it and thought the bat would start to open up as the season went along. Absolutely nothing, so far, I could probably hit the ball further, if I took a piece of my dining table out.
At this point, do I just curse my luck and purchase another bat ? Can I send it in somewhere in the hope that they might be able to bring some life out of it ?
Thanks,

I will buy it off you for a decent price i know another lad who has one of these he said his was dead i used it knocking up and it was not a bad bat.
Now i'm not saying your is not dead but if you have no faith sell it me.
On the other hand contact the place you got it from who might send it to Grays

Send it too gray Nichols.
My mate bought a gn powerbow le. Knocked it in for an hour over the winter. Used it in the nets all winter.
Season came. The guy is a big hitter. Clears boundaries for fun, has a play cricket strike rate of 144 over his 4k runs scored.
Anyway, he could get it off the square, was getting caught in the circle constantly. First he thought it was form, then he went bat,
We called paranoia and sent him out with my gn oblivion extreme pro. He hit a 94 of 38 balls!
I used the power bow and couldn't get it off the square.
Took it to seller, he claimed the usual bs of not knocked in. So about 5hrs was spent on it, annoyed (No Swearing Please) out of everyone at the games, no difference.
Seller sent it back to gn. They claimed there was nothing wrong with it and sent it him back.
But wait. It's got new styler stickers? There was a Definately mark 3/4 of the way up where it looked like they'd pressed it again, and it had Definately been oiled.
It now goes like a gun! My (No Swearing Please) gn did nothing.

I'd be open to that - what would be a decent price ?

Thank You very much, I will try and avail this option. Only small issue is - I live in Canada. Let me get in touch with GN and see what they say.

Mate if you are in Canada the cost of shipping and getting it back would be so much that you might as well buy a new bat. I am in Nova Scotia and its about $100 so send it over and another $50 to get it shipped back, these are the cheapest rates and not everyone offers these rates so you could be paying more. Where in Canada are you?
