Hi
On the back of the wanted request, I got a handled cleft delivered this week. Now I need to know what to do next.
I'd suggest that the following needs doing, bit what is the best/right order to do them?
- Remove excess weight from back/shaping
- Shape toe
- Shape handle
- Sand face
- Shape shoulders
- general finishing
- Binding
What order would I do this in. Also, as I do not possess a draw knife or spoke shave yet, I only have a few shaving blades (for trimming doors), what is the best thing to do/get ? Should I try with what I have or splash out on a draw knife?
I have been speaking with John at Red Ink and have some tips but wondered what else people could offer up?
Thanks
Joel

Thanks mate, kind offer. I will drop you a PM about a good tine/date to pop across.
Tuffers, I hope I enjoy it, even if it isn't very usable, it will be an experience.
