Title: Black Cat Softs?
Post by: Cowcorner on August 21, 2013, 09:00:24 PM
I read on Twitter that you'd sent some softs prototypes and bats to a worthy cause. Are these a one off or a sign of things to come? Any chance we can get a preview of the softs?

Hi Cowcorner,

Sadly not- the prototypes only served to convince us not to enter the soft goods world...!

thats a smart decision.

I take it the Hammer softs production has not been a pleasurable experience?

It's just a lot of work....samples, changes etc extra... You have to carry lots of stock, it's bulky ...etc etc..

It's disappointing that the process in such a nut ache as many of the smaller cricket companies produce better softs than the big boys!!

It's certainly a lot of work upfront and time consuming.
Also as jason said, very bulky indeed.

I own my own small brand (I won't be mentioning any gear or my brand as I'm not a sponsor) and it is so much hard work but people do often be put off if they can't get matching softs.
