I've got livestrong radars with the standard lens they come with and find they make the background a bit too dark so at times you can't even see the ball, tried my mates jawbones for a game and they seemed much better suited to cricket

That's more to do with the lens than the frame. I have Radarlock XL with a Jade Iridium lens (a green lens in plain English) and they are absolutely brilliant, I wore them for the first time during the H4L v CBF game, and wore them all day, despite changing light conditions, rolling cloud cover etc. They are perfect.

have radars ... 1 word unreal
any other questions
-
Jawbones give you the advantage of being able to change the lenses, the light enhancing ones are brilliant.

Whichever ones you look less of a tit in.
(I look a tit in them all)

I use Oakley radars and have two pairs and two different lens types, the first is a normal stem pair with grey path lenses and they're great, I also have a red straight stem pair with Positive red iridium lenses in...
The iridium lenses are better in my view as they block out more sun and they are also reflective and people can't see your eyes.
The range size of lens I prefer as they wrap around my face better and do stop light sneaking in around the side of your face...

This!
Only ones I don't look a tit in are the jawbones and five squared

VR28 is the best suited cricket lense, as it highlights red against a green background. Will be a good all-round lense suitae for most conditions. I also have fire iridium lenses for bright sunny days, and persimmon lenses for overcast conditions.
In terms of frames and lense shapes you really need to go and try them on and figure out which fit you best. I have M frames with heater lenses
-
anyone have some radarlocks in the plain white at a good price?
Thanks
-
I use flak jacket, brilliant!!
Although when keeping I get sweat of my brow in the top corners of the lenses :(
As mentioned previously VR28 is the best lense, polarised is worth it too.
personally, I think everyone looks a tit in jawbones, not a fan.

Gun metal gray framed Flak jackets are £90 at the outlet in York and they always put and extra 20% off on top.

Went for white radars with jade lenses, thanks for the advice guys

RadarLock XL White frame with Jade Iridium and Yellow light enhancing lenses
M Frames with blue frame and Fire Iridium and Grey Lenses
Radar Paths with Blue and Yellow Frame and what i suppose are Ruby iridium Lenses (These are fake. The best fakes i've ever worn and i can't tell the difference in terms of lens quality)

I have used the Flak Jackets for the last few years but am now thinking of trying out the split jackets. Eyewear outlet have some good prices at the moment and there are a few discount codes out there if you look hard enough!

Where did you get the white radars from!?
I got them the Oakley stand at the Durham test match, I believe they were at all the test matches selling sunglasses pretty cheaply.
The ones d7bow has linked are similar, but they lens shape is different, it' the Path shape. Mine are Radarlock XL's.

Ok thanks,
What is the difference between:

Which are better, what are the differences, etc.

One has a vented lens the other doesn't and the secondary lens in different...
-
Oh, which is better?
-
My only regret with my Oakley set up is that I didn't get vented lenses. They help stop the lenses from steaming up, which if you're fat and sweaty like me can be a problem

Ah so it's worth getting the vented lenses? What do all the pros use?

What are the best lenses for cricket!?
-
Most say the g26! But I think any lens are good
-
I get on fine with the standard grey ones for bright days and yellow ones when it's darker or overcast.
