How to shape your Stretton Fox guards / pads (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1sG6WezTvQ#)
Hi everyone, again thank you for your support on this forum and comments which genuinely are helping to shape Stretton Fox Sports as a company.
After quite a lot of questions I thought best to shoot a quick video showing how to shape Stretton Fox Guards. A lot of people are unsure just how much these can be bent so this video should hopefully shine some light on it !
Not the most exciting release, but hopefully very helpful.
Please as well if anyone has other requests just ask on this blog and i'll look to reply via video or writing.
Cheers !

Great video, think im gonna have to invest in some for next season.

Gotta say, it's true they do get better over time. Finishing the 1st season with mine and the more you wear it, the better it gets

Really useful video. I didn't realise how forcefully you could bend them! Hopefully with more pressure I can get my Stretton thigh guard fitting better this Saturday :)
-
Must admit I did get a little scared seeing you bend it so forcefully, as if it would break, but you know best, the product looks amazing. Will certainly be investing in the new year, can't resist any longer and my OBO strippers probably need replacing and upgrading
Great informative video George

So do you shape the inner the same way as the outer? Just the outer is a perfect fit compared to the inner

i can't reply to your pm Tony, but here is the answer to your question.
It may depend on the design of your inner guard. Mine is a wraparound style that i had to flatten out totally as per the outer thigh guard, and then fold over the edges and corners to get it to sit properly.

Ill upload a picture on this thread of what mine looks like, so basically you did exactly the same as the outer?

Mine looks similar to that.
i did a little bit more localised folding on the inner guard to get it to sit nicely around the areas where it is close to the top hat of my pad, but essentially i did the same thing as George in the video.

Thank you for the help jake! Have gotten it sorted now cheers!
