Now this might just show how bad a batsman I am, but do the edge stickers on GM bats annoy anyone else??
To me they are waitin to be lifted off because they are on top of the scuff sheet. This may be a boring post to some, by I have made a slight alteration to hopefully prolong the life of the edge stickers. (Yes I know I'm a sad muppet, but these thing are important to me)

The are on top (along with the main stickers over the splice) of the scuff sheet so that it is more difficult to do a refurb on the bat and retain the stickers. Essentially now (i have some 2011 Flares that have stickers under the sheet) if you want your bat to come back looking like it did when you first got it, you have to send it to GM.
If you have a very sharp knife, and a skilled hand, you can still refurb it, but it is more difficult.

I'm handy with a scalpel so if I need to do a refurb I'll cut round the old scuff sheet.
The edge stickers just annoyed me as it was shortening their life span, when it was a simple solution.
Basically I need to get out a bit more lol.

I cut my old scuff sheet away on my last Icon. Might just send it back to GM before winter nets this time though.
