Title: I think the rain forest is missing a tree!!
Post by: SOULMAN1012 on August 30, 2013, 09:05:25 PM
So I was bored at work the other day and decided to see what was available in some end of season sale, came across Millet sports and a Powerbow Extreme for £64.99 in medium weight. I thought these were 3lb plus but after speaking to millers they said they had one at 2.10 so I decided to take a punt.

OMG this thing is huge 47mm edges and 67mm edge give or take a mm or two. There is some graphing on the blade but not a bad looking stick, lovely thick oval handle as well, tapping a ball up on this is just amazing left 2 little marks in my ceiling it pings that well, pick up is ok but does feel a tad bottom heavy, but here are some pics of the biggest bat I have ever owned and possibly seen below 3lb in weight

Have you weighed it yet? If it is really 2.10, then you've gotten yourself a bargain mate! How big is the collection now? Mine seems to keep growing back after I whittle it down... :(

2.10 is perfect and if it is there is enough would to get this down and oz or two and still have 40mm edges and 60 mm spine lol.

I spoke to two people when I wanted to check weight and the first was as useful as a choc tea pot trying to remember the guys name who I spike to, he was there cricket expert apparently, maybe I got lucky but i believe medium weight is usually 2.10 to 2.12 so if you use that weight range can't really go wrong for £70 plus £5 postage.

I picked up a medium weight Powerbow 4* in medium. It's 2lb 9oz. Medium is pretty light...

I thought the invoice said £5 postage cost although I could be wrong though.
