Best thing about your action is a strong front leg. However did you know you bowl with a mixed action? Back foot lands side on and you look inside your non bowling arm, so front on. Need to get that sorted ASAP not just for performance but also for injury protection. It seems you lean back in your flight phase, when you want everything going towards the target/batsman. When you land your front foot if you were to draw a line front your back foot heel to through your front foot heel the line would be pointing towards fine leg. Again you need this to be pointing at the batsman. What that then makes you do is add lateral force to get around your front leg t be in a squared on positin at relapse. The ideal is knees, hips and shoulders square on to the batsman at release. Evidence of this lateral force is you falling to the off side and your follow through to the off side, again needs to be straight through the crease towards the batsman before tailing off the pitch.

Now initially this seems a lot however I believe if you sort out your feet this will have a knock on effect for the rest of the action.

Does look as though you have a good wrist positin which I suspect makes the delivery look good and get bounce but there is more potential not being realised.

I would think the fact you have been bowling off spin is a reason for the things I have previously mentioned. With spin you need that rotation around the front leg to get revs on the ball.

Just remember, if you run in straight and everything going through the crease is straight and towards the batsman then the ball will come out straight. And contrary to belief the better your action is for accuracy the better it is also for pace.

To sort your feet out you might need to build it up from a standing start to walk through to a couple of paces and every time you increase make sure your action remains good.

Need to keep your hips straighter at release and push through to your target instead of running off to the left

I think it's a dangerous thing to be stuck between knowing if you are a spinner or a seamer.

Good point mate.. but if you can do both you may aswell theres none at the top level but in lower leagues as long as you can put it there or there abouts its ok

as said i think it would help if your follow through was straight towards the stumps could possibly add an extra yard of pace and wouldnt give your head the chance to slide away to the right

With regards to this.. should i sort of push my head down ? and carry on straight .. or just run straight down if that makes sense?

Your follow through should happen as a result of your bowling action. You shouldn't think about actively trying to force yourself towards the batsman. If you get everything sorted before that it should naturally occur. Like I said earlier it will be a case of sorting 1 or 2 things out and it'll have a knock on effect to the rest. When people comment about a follow through its because its an indicator of something not right causing you to go off to the side. No one has ever been a good bowler because of having a good follow through. Concentrate on your action when between the two lines and the rest will come.

Wouldn't you rather invest time and effort in being very good at one or other?

Preferably yes ! but as we have a pro who bowls one end most of the game (left arm spinner) im stuck between the two at the moment.. and my mind still thinks as a seamer
