Hi, I wanted some help on facing quick bowlers. I usually get scared when the ball comes at a quick speed and become motionless. Can anybody tell me a good way to approach quick bowlers or some useful drills. Thank you.

I find that what normally helps if people are getting scared of the ball is to go for a net session with either a fast bowler or a bowling machine (and set it to the right speed) but start off by going in fully padded up , with chest guard , thigh pad and everything you can get. This should stop you from backing away from the ball as it should increase your confidence. After a while you will get used to the more pacey bowling , and as you do slowly take off some of your protective equipment until you get down to what you use in a match. I find this works with a lot of people :).
