Here is a video of me in the nets the other day.
Apologies for the poor quality (down to the light) and the audio. Close your ears or mute it as there is the odd expletive I think lol.
Anyway here is the video (ends rather abruptly due to 'technical issues')

As its the end of the season any tips given will be what I aim to work on in the nets over the winter.

Must say the 'technical issue' made me jump a bit!

Haha, my heart was in my mouth when I went to check the iPad and I had a black screen after it happened, no harm done thankfully (and more importantly, the moment I was bowled by the U13 wicket keeper wasn't caught on camera!)

Your stance is a bit suspect, leaning over to the off side a little too much.
Stand up a little taller and lift your hands up as well. A good guide is to rest your bottom hand on you trouser pocket nearest to the stumps.

Thanks Garrett, I'm assuming this will mean I find it easier to play on the leg side too?

A lot lot easier.
Just practice the stance at home in front of a mirror until it feels natural. Will take a while but will make batting a lot easier
