Title: Gray Nicolls Powerbow Strauss LE

Labelled as 2lb 10oz, weighs just under 2lb 11oz on the scales.

Yes, feel fortunate to have received such quality on what was a speculative punt with Sports Direct.

It isn't signed as it should be, however, will overlook that.

The bat is not knocked in, taps up very well indeed as it is with a mellow sound. Not as hard pressed as my Kahuna Players (and other Kookaburras), a crisper response though than my Bradbury S500 which is pressed softer.

Definitely going to keep it and use next season.

Would be interested to know what the shoulder stamps denote.

Post by: AlanB on October 31, 2013, 07:53:28 PM: the Gray Nicolls workshop people kindly confirmed that the shoulder stamps are the bat maker's mark and the year of production. Not sure which is which ("P" or "L") or who the maker actually is.
