Title: Should I see a shrink? Bat collection inside.
Post by: smilley792 on September 17, 2013, 04:34:22 PM: Was putting my cricket gear away, and weighing my bats before they go into storage for the winter. And decided to snap a pic.

I think I have issues,

Also just realised my gm zona isn't there, and can't think where it is?

Gray nics bas and kook are in need of repair.
Corr3 I've just sold to a team mates but is still at my house.

b3s
The left, db1 isn't actually man, is the clubs raffle bat for presentation night. Just at mine while work is done at club house.
Black stickers is my current match bat-3stripe
Beige sticker one is a copy of match bat for nets/practice
Green one is my original b3 but middle is a tad high, so only use it on really bouncy tracks
B3 net bat gets used when I'm not in form! Or bored

Yes lots, I even did a full midweek season with it in 2010 and averaged 75!(albeit a low level).

It still has the best middle of any bat I own, and travels everywhere with me, in case the situation needs a hell Mary attitude

I also have a db1 raffle bat at home (rather than leave it in the pavilion) - great scheme for both the clubs and spreading of the b3 name (we're going for a factory visit early next month).

Our club was one of the early ones on the b3 train, we had a factory visit last feb! There's a fair few b3 bats and equipment at our club currently.
Quite frankly, I buy bats, but Haven't discovered a bat that gets near any off my b3s yet, Highly recommend them to anyone.

4star i believe. It's really really old, it had a snapped handle under warranty and came back with those stickers. After gn repaired it. Performs well, and reluctant to give it up.
Needs another new handle.

I didn't have any time for a nosey round when I picked the raffle bat up and missed them when they came to our winter nets in March with some trial bats so should be interesting - just out of my price range (did have hold of a 'crown' bat which was lovely)

Friend of mine is sponsored by b3 (plays for mcc YC's) and he said their factory and setup is unreal

No Pics currently. But will get some soon.
Bat is very very concaved. It was gong straight back originally as I was not that impressed.
Ordered 2.10, it weighs 2.97
Grains aren't that nice, even or straight.
Has heartwood with 2 very small knots/marks(unsure what they are) on the outside edge.

Then I got my mallet and ball out, and it pings, and has quite a long middle! Which is what bats are all about. So it's staying. Lol

I only wanted to look at bags! And bought two bats. Lol.

Truly is an awesome place, there so much clean looking willow, that feels beautiful. It's what happens when you handpick bats. You get the best!

I'm glad I visited, being 4hrs away, I now know, if I order online. I'm gonna get something special!

It's the BAS bats that get my Visa twitchy, just glad he's always sold the light ones when I pop in. The Hammer shape is awesome.

I put one in the b3 section(as there b3s) and then one in a thread containing all my bats(as these are my bats).
