Title: Match Shirts
Post by: jblowe on September 18, 2013, 03:34:07 PM
Hi
After our first team won the league we have secured a new Club Sponsor.  We are in the market for a new set of shirt.  Previously we have purchased our kits directly from Pakistan, which is very cheap but as you can imagine the quality is not great.  I am hoping to set up a club shop with a company based in the UK.  I would like to hear your experiences with the following companies (positive or negative)

MKK

Kudos

Samurai

Cricket Haven

Kukri

Any others you might recommend?

Many thanks
Jason

We use Kukri, the quality of the shirt is as good as anyone esle and more reasonable in terms of cost than some. There is an order periosd of 2-3 weeks however but bespoke shirts are available usually withing 6 weeks. If you want the details of the sales team please PM me.

We use serious cricket. Cheap but very good quality and only a 5 day turnaround on orders, plus they can integrate a shop into your website and any sales net the club a 5% commission.

The MKK kit is lovely and they supplied Middlesex for a while, not sure if they still do. A bit slow to deliver though.

Couldn't get an answer from MKK. Used DMS who were very good!

Well done for winning the league Jason! We were just pleased to survive a place above going down a division!
Best of luck in Division 1 mate.

Out of the kit mentioned, I have only ever seen the gear in Uzi Sports and that offered genuine choice and quality. Go get exploring fella, and will try to pop into your nets session over Winter if you'll have a lowly player from the depths of the league  ;)

the CBF kit from Aswani is really good to, so Aswani is another good option

I would suggest looking at CJi as well. THey supplied our kit and it was very good!

I haven't used all brands, but my best experience with club gear and having a club shop was with Pro Skins.

Don't use Kukri! Awful customer service and the kit takes ages to come! The sizing that they state on the sizing charts never conform to what size you actually get!
