Just a quick question to the sponsors, does anyone happen to have a Salix Pod Pro bag in stock? I guess it might be a long shot so if anyone could recommend anything similar that would be great cheers.
-
I tried everywhere.
A lot of websites stated they had them in stock but when you call up they had none.
Also I called Salix and they have none left.
However I was lucky to find one at Romida, apparently they have one leaf at the leatherhead store. Give them a call.

Cheers buddy, I'll give them a ring tomorrow!

Barrington has the Pod One. I know its not the Pod Pro but...
-
I've had the pod one for three years now and it still looks great, Salix bags in my experience are really well put together.

My pod pro bag is coming to the end of items natural life. The boot pocket is now completely shagged as the zip has totally bust, and the liner isn't in great nick.Means I can't get my boots comfortably in my bag and I'm just waiting for stuff too come out of the bottom. Tempted by the Slaz duffle though.

I thought I would share one negative about this bag and that is it should have more side pockets. The one side pocket it has it long and not very deep. Which makes it pointless when the main compartment is full.

Can't say I've found that to be a problem. The shape of the bag is such that if you put your wash kit including towel, food and deodorant, sunscreen, etc, in the side pocket it fits fine and you can still fill the main pocket with no issue.

Has anyone found the toes of their bats get small dents in when using the two bat slots?
-
Have not put any bats in mine yet.
Got a pic of the dents?

Yes I had this problem a couple of times as it catches on the harder surface and then you have to push it against it to get it fully in
-
Would putting the bats in handle first resolve this issue?

Tried that, it's a bit of a pain tbh, especially when you've got a lot of kit in the bag already.
It's a great bag, well made, perfect size. I may have to put my bats in padded sleeves but that sort of defeats the object of built in padded bat sleeves.
-
Still it is a bit of an issue if you are denting your £200-£300 bats.
I will have to see what modifications I make

Hey guys,
Just ordered a pod pro, would the dents in the bats be ok with a toe guard?

I love the Salix Pod Pro bag. We have quite a few in stock along with the, equally impressive, Salix Duffle, Tri-Wheel and Allkit bags: http://www.itsjustcricket.co.uk/salix-m14#c3 (http://www.itsjustcricket.co.uk/salix-m14#c3)
We also have video reviews for all four bags on our YouTube channel, if anyone wants to take a closer look.

any reason why the bigger allkit only has two beams, while the smaller tri wheel, as three support beams? seemed rather random.
