I tried that plan many years ago - was fine until I tried to get golf clubs in as well!!!

Count I as interested

I think Arvind mentioned the SWALEC?
-
Yet to be confirmed, but the thought is:
- tour of Swalec Stadium and Welsh Cricket Museum, Cardiff
- visit to shop
- net at stadium indoor cricket centre
- food
Any preference for weekday or weekend?

Ifs a weekend I can do 8/9th or 15/16th. And happy to do all of the above especially the last option ;)
-
Weekends are not great for me, so weekdays best for me...
-
i would be interested doesn't matter either way about the day.

A heads up ... this is provisionally booked for Sat 1st March (St. David's Day), subject to confirmation by Glamorgan Cricket. They get booked up very early and being rugby season, the ground is used for events and hospitality ... though a 6 nations match day in Cardiff is something to experience!
-
March next year sounds a very long way off, but please start registering your interest as soon as you can ... Have lined up a Swalec stadium tour (90 mins) as part of the day.
There will be a charge for the day unfortunately (net, stadium tour and food) but we will subsidise it and try and keep the cost to a reasonable level. But hopefully it will be an enjoyable day for you all.
The stadium tour lasts about 90mins, and takes in the Museum of Welsh Cricket, the Really Welsh Pavilion, the dressing rooms and other areas used by players and match officials, the hospitality areas, and the state of the art media centre which has a superb panoramic view of the world's 100th Test Match stadium.
