I've just re-sent you the email from 27th Sept ... but the costs are £10 for standard air mail, £15 for international signed for by Royal Mail.  I haven't been able to get a courier cost via Fedex as our online system is not functioning with the correct rates. Package weighs around 700g.

I think this is so much a personal preference.  Based on the orders received so far, the basic chevron is top of the list.  Personally, I like a thinner grip, but at the moment I'm using an octopus and I like it.  I'd love to try the GM ripple, I think it will be spongy like the octopus, but not as hard on the gloves as the scale grip

Thanks all for your patience. Sometimes neither we nor the manufacturers can predict on delays in overseas shipping, customs, etc :)

Ripple grips are superb, comfortable and thick. Only downside is they weigh in at 2.25 oz but this is also a benefit as it lightens the pick-up.

Title: Re: FORUM OFFER - GM Ripple Grips
Post by: Buzz on April 16, 2014, 09:32:14 AM
thicker than average - about 1.5 grips thickness. Harder than a typical matrix/chevron grip.
Good control - decent grips, personally I think they look great and play ok... but aren't life changing!

I have them on my bats and like them (but wouldn't rave about them) as I like the thickness of the grips and prefer them to a spiral grip.

Is that helpful?

Title: Re: FORUM OFFER - GM Ripple Grips
Post by: WalkingWicket37 on April 16, 2014, 10:20:15 AM
Personally I love them.
I used to use 2 chevrons and half a whatever on the bottom.

Now half a whatever on the bottom and a ripple grip.
Solved the thin handle issue on my Octane too, using a ripple instead of a chevron.

How have people been finding the GM ripple grips? Just chucked one on my Flare for nets tonight.

I had them on all my bats but have now gone back to a simple chevron.

Nice and spongy but the weight was a tad too much. I might chop one in half for the bottom hand.
