Hi Guys,
I'm just wondering what the best options out there are for people with tiny hands. I basically need junior gloves, despite now being a Uni student, yet I haven't found any of a suitable quality that gives anywhere near the amount of protection I was hoping for. Having dislocated my finger last season, I am really trying to avoid breaking another one... Kookaburra preferably but are there any options actually out there or am I destined to be forever using the lower end gloves from major brands?
I should probably mention that I would rather bat without gloves than buy Newbery gear again...
Kind Regards,
Billy B

Look at Salix boys or Youth size.
-
Yes, that is one option I guess, very pricey though, but I guess you pay a premium for quality.
-
Gunn and Moore 909 D3o gloves are available in youth size, as are Gray Nics Maverick F1 Elites. Those are just off the top of my head.
Happy to sort you out with a top set of gloves in your size, pm me for a chat mate.

I would second Salix, or maybe M&H too. Not cheap, but the protection is definitely there, which I think is most important for you...
Can I ask what Newbery gloves you were wearing when it happened? We may think twice about stocking these particular gloves in future!
-
Cheers Jake, I will give you a message in a sec.
Paul, I wasn't wearing Newbery gloves when it happened- my innate hatred of Newbery stems from my past experience of buying a 2lb 7oz Mjolnir last year. 2 bats later and I have an 2lb 11oz plank that picks up like a bit of a log to be honest.
The injury was purely done in the field. Its good to see that you are always looking to fine tune your stock selections, though I should probably be careful with my wording in future! The only gloves I have ever seen anyone get injured in, ironically, is in one of the best sellers, the 808s from GM- Batsman's fault though!

we have 3 pairs of our youth RH gloves left in stock currently, I wear youth size desipte being 30 and i know a few other forum members also use this size too.
Protection levels and materials are the same as the mens version as with all our kit.
-
Welcome to the tiny hands club :D. SS , SG brands manufacture good quality gloves which are well priced. Most Indian mens gloves are of similar size to U.K youth size. Most of our forum sponsors would be able to sort you out with a good deal. If in doubt, send the measurements from the tip of the middle finger to the base of your palm.
-
Thank you Asad, I will let you know if I find any that I fancy in those ranges!
Tom, I'm really not sure if youths would fit me properly... I use the lower-end Blue-Rooms at the moment and they don't fit in a youths size. Too baggy around the palm.
Blazer mate, when I say small, I have the smallest hands out of anyone at my campus. Girls included. These are sad, sad times. I'll have a look though, cheers :D

True, some of our BAS gloves fit to Small Men
-
our premier gloves are smaller than our elites so they might be an option....if not i have 1 pair of tiny boys left over that i think Roco had a couple of pairs of for his son previously ;)

Cheers Tom, I'll let you know. I guess the prudent thing would be to measure my hands... But being a proper uni student I don't have a ruler.
-
It would be quite useful if you have these guys a hand measurement. Measure from the top of your wrist (bottom of Palm) to the tip of your middle finger. You might have to look at boys size instead of youths.

I was to slow in typing haha!
You can try an online ruler - http://www.myonlineruler.com (http://www.myonlineruler.com)

Your 'bat handle' must look massive in your hands!

I second this as well! Top quality stuff.

Lots of favour for the Ayrtek gloves then, how much will they set me back then Tom? (The Elites, not the Premier).
They might be a collectible item in a few years.
Congrats, by the way, on your helmet success with Adidas... :D
Situation sorted, Thank you all for your help...
Ayrtek gloves on the way once I have paid for them.
