Title: Dhoni and his ton(sunridges) bat
Post by: smilley792 on September 27, 2013, 10:09:01 AM
Noticed in the previous clt20 match dhoni had a ton stickerd bat

Yet yesterday against Hyderabad, he was back with a Reebok snickered one.
Last year he also uses bas against Yorkshire before switching to a nike.

Firstly why does he switch between sponsorship randomly?

And mainly, what ton was he using, looked to be blue and orange stickers and looked a beast of a bat.

Most Reebok players use TON bats, but I don't know what the point of his sponsorship is.

That doesn't surprise me.  I would also suggest that they get so many lucrative endorsements outside of cricket they can wear what they like.  Kohli mixes and matches his gear (BAS gloves, Ton bat, etc.) and Tendulkar...well, everyone bar me has claimed to make his bats - with people queuing up why wouldn't you take up as many offers as possible?!

Bizarre to sponsor a batsmen for one game, especially if they was to get a duck!

Either way, the stickers on that ton bat, are the best looking ton stickers I've seen. Not that stickers make a bat!

I just refuse to buy from eBay.

Is Nick the same person who use to run forum on cricket supplies web site.
if he is still associated with Cricket Supplied(owned by Owzat), why would they sell bats on ebay imported from Indian local market.

I don't think batman cricket is the same guy that ran cricketsupplies.com. Batman cricket is a member of this forum under the name nikunjind.

My refusal to use eBay goes hand in hand with refusal to use paypal,

There's only so many times you can be sent empty boxes and paypal say "but there's a tracking number so they win"

What happened was that batman cricket on ebay had a different name before on ebay.

2 years ago (estimate) I asked the person about a kookaburra blade cricket bat and he was from

cricketsupplies.com
