Title: Grains lovely grains

Here's a pic for all those lovely people who got in touch of some clefts with some grains. These have only just been cleaned up not been graded as of yet

Some very beautiful clefts, love those grains, with mallet do they sound as good as those grains?. Will the amount of heartwood on some make them lower grade?

They look lovely to me - definitely grade 1, despite the heartwood.  I haven't seen many bats with 12+ grains recently that didn't have at least a little heartwood.  And I've seen quite a few bats...
