Really depends on what type of floor they have so best check with the centre.

Don't put any rubber spikes in and just have the sole of the shoe.
-
will that ruin the the screw in bit?
-
Best asking the Centre i know the one at derby is a hard floor rather then matting, but ask as for the footwear themselves, i've been using running trainers but stumped up for some new Nike indoors from prdirect which arrived today pics soon, but the reason was as they are more supportive in the heel when batting.

I play indoor every year and just take the spikes out won't do any damage

Yeah this is what I did. I had just bought a pair of Adidas 22 yds last season at winter nets which were a bit tight. Unscrewed the studs and wore them through winter nets and then just screwed the studs back in when the season came round. Was sore to begin with but by the time the season started my shoes were perfectly stretched and molded to my feet.

This is good to hear. Saves me about £45.
I was thinkning about getting the Lunar Dominates and Potential, but seems like the spike nikes will do just fine.

My studs on 22yds are so rusty, they won't come out. Tried WD 40 as well but no good >:(
